Autel Energy Introduces New 480-kW MaxiCharger at 2025 CES

The first unit was recently installed in Europe.

At the 2025 CES in Las Vegas, Autel Energy presented its new MaxiCharger DH480, an all-in-one DC fast charger rated at up to 480 kilowatts. One of the most interesting things about the DF480 is that it can be equipped with up to four charging ports and simultaneously charge up to four electric vehicles.

Connector choices in North America include the CCS1 and the NACS (SAE J3400), which means that the charger is ready for the transition from the CCS1 to the NACS.

Just like in the case of its MaxiCharger DC HiPower product (640 kW), Autel Energy promises a charging success rate of over 99%.

Key Features of the MaxiCharger DC All-in-One Unit

  • Ultra-Fast Charging: Provides industry-leading charging speeds, enabling EV drivers to get back on the road faster.
  • Native NACS connector options
  • Multi-Port Capability: Supports up to four charging ports, maximizing utility for high-demand locations.
  • Seamless Payment Options: Accepts credit cards, RFID, QR codes, and Plug & Charge for a hassle-free user experience.
  • Future-Proof Design: Compatible with renewable energy sources like photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage (BESS) integration.
  • Reliability & Intelligence: Features advanced AI-driven monitoring and predictive maintenance, ensuring over 98% uptime and optimal performance.

First MaxiCharger DH480 in Europe

Interestingly, at the same time, Autel Energy Europe and Orange Charging completed the very first installation of the MaxiCharger DH480 in Europe. The charger was installed at the Groen Goud Biervliet in the Netherlands.

Jasper Boogert, Managing Director at Orange Charging, said:

“We are excited to partner with Autel Energy Europe and facilitate our customer MW Solutions to be the first to install the MaxiCharger DH480 in Europe. This installation not only strengthens our commitment to providing fast and reliable charging solutions for EV drivers, but it also sets a new benchmark for what’s possible in ultra-fast charging technology today. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Autel as we have planned more Maxicharger DH480 installations in the coming months.”

Cai Ting, CEO of Autel Energy Europe, said:

“We are truly excited to partner with Orange Charging in bringing this game-changing MaxiCharger DH480 to Europe. Orange Charging has been a fantastic partner, and we are grateful to them for being the first to try this cutting-edge product. This milestone is not only a significant achievement for Autel but also a step forward for the entire European EV ecosystem. We look forward to our continued collaboration and further opportunities to support the transition to sustainable energy.”
