Electrify America Deploys Chargers at WS Development Retail Destinations

The new partnership will result in 15 new stations across the country.

Electrify America has announced a new partnership with WS Development, a mixed-use development firm that owns and operates more than 100 properties spanning urban, lifestyle, and community centers.

WS Development plans to deploy 350-kW DC fast-charging stations at its retail destinations beginning this winter. EV chargers will be installed across over 15 WS Development properties, starting in early 2026 with:

  • The Shops at Blackstone Valley (Millbury, MA)
  • Walmart Plaza (Salem, MA)
  • The Street Chestnut Hill (Chestnut Hill, MA)

Electrify America chargers are also coming to other WS Development properties in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Illinois, and California.

The new infrastructure will be fully integrated with the Electrify America charging network, which already includes more than 5,000 stalls at over 1,080 locations in the US and Canada.

Jake Stahl, Chief Financial Officer of WS Development, said:

“Partnering with Electrify America allows us to take another meaningful step toward making sustainability part of the everyday experience at our properties. We’re proud to offer our visitors the convenience of fast, reliable EV charging while investing in clean energy solutions that support the future of our communities.”

Rachel Moses, Sr. Director, Sales, Business Development, & Marketing at Electrify America, said:

“Electrify America is proud to collaborate with WS Development to bring Hyper-Fast EV charging to some of the most iconic retail destinations in the country. Our white label solution enables WS Development to operate its own charging network while leveraging Electrify America’s trusted technology, network scale, and seamless experience. This approach combines innovation with convenience, helping drivers charge with confidence and making electric transportation an easy choice.”
