United Chargers has just introduced the new Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A dual-head, smart residential charging station. It’s a next-generation version of the Grizzl-E Duo, featuring a set of new features and upgrades.
Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A
The Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A is designed for two EV households, as it can simultaneously charge two EVs using a single electric circuit. The key feature that makes it happen is power sharing within the unit, which allocates full power to one connected EV or half to both if two EVs are connected.
The total power output is 9.6 kW (up to 40 amps at 240 volts). As this is a plug-in charging station with a NEMA 14-50 plug, it should be installed on a 50-amp circuit. If necessary, power output can be limited via dip switches, and a hardwired installation is always an option.
The new Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A is a smart charger with Wi-Fi connectivity and the option to use the Grizzl-E Connect app. The new enclosure is thinner than before (basically the same as standard Grizzl-E charging stations). There are two indicator lights to display the status of both ports and new front cover designs (black and white, both Classic or Bear).
One of the most important changes is the addition of a NACS charging connector option. One can decide whether one wants two SAE J1772 plugs, two NACS plugs, or one SAE J1772 and one NACS.

Pre-sales in the United States and Canada have already begun with prices of $899.99 USD and $1,199.99 CAD, respectively. Shipping is set to begin on February 10, 2026.
Additionally, the new Grizzl-E Duo Connect 40A will soon be available for use in the Grizzl-E Club in Canada. The club already has over 2,500 members, who can enjoy charging without a membership fee and even get energy cashback ($0.03 CAD/kWh). We heard that the amount might go up “soon”.
80-Amp Version Is Coming
According to United Chargers, a more powerful 80-amp version of the Grizzl-E Duo Connect is coming in two months. It will have a total power output of up to 19.2 kW.
That would be an interesting product for all who operate two EVs with high-power chargers but do not have two separate 19.2-kW circuits.
