Tesla is expanding its DC fast-charging infrastructure in Hawaii, where the Supercharging network consists of six locations (one on Maui and five on Oʻahu) with 60 stalls.
According to permit filings discovered by MarcoRP (@MarcoRPi1 / X), three new sites are coming to Hawaii, including the first two stations on the Big Island and one additional station on Maui.
- Hilo (Hawaii): 24 stalls
- Kailua-Kona (Hawaii): 16 stalls
- Wailea (Maui): 16 stalls
The 24-stall station on the Big Island will be the largest in the state.
Tesla is planning a massive Supercharger buildout on Hawaii’s two biggest islands.
Permits have been filed for three new sites – 2 on the Island of Hawaii and 1 on the Island of Maui:

Currently, three of the six Supercharging sites in Hawaii are available to Tesla’s NACS partners, although CCS1-compatible EVs must have their own NACS-to-CCS1 adapters.
As Tesla deploys more Superchargers in Hawaii, the company will virtually double the number of Supercharging stalls available in the state, enabling EVs on the Big Island to travel more freely without range anxiety.

Great news! Do you know why none of the Tesla superchargers at the Pearlridge Center in Aiea, HI are not modified to accept Ford EVs? Would be great to have more options to charge my Lightning.
Mahalo!
