Tesla has completed the expansion of its Supercharging station located in Barstow, California. The site is now equipped with 120 V3 Supercharging stalls (250 kW), making it the largest Supercharger in the world.
The recent upgrade will strengthen the Supercharging network along the Los Angeles — Las Vegas corridor (see map) during the busy end-of-the-year travel season.
According to Tesla, the station has prefabricated Supercharging dispensers, 495 kW of solar canopies, and is trailer-friendly with pull-through stalls.

Tesla is preparing to build even larger Supercharging stations. There is a 168-stall Supercharging Oasis project in Lost Hills, California, and another 168-stall project in the pipeline in Coalinga, California. An even larger site with 200 stalls might be installed at Exit 193 of the Florida Turnpike.
We can clearly see a trend of building larger and larger DC fast-charging sites, especially along highways. It’s probably more economically justified than an alternative scenario with multiple smaller sites.
