EV & CHARGING NEWS
New EV charging stations seem to be launching all the time, and one of the new ones to hit the market this year is the Autel MaxiCharger. But does it earn my seal of approval? I tested this charger for about three weeks so I could give you the details you need to figure out if the Autel MaxiCharger is the best EV charging station to meet your needs.
The Emporia 48-amp EV charger gained a lot of interest when it first came out earlier this year. Thanks to a combination of its high 48-amp power, smart charging features, and integration with Emporia’s other energy-saving and monitoring devices, there’s no doubt that the Emporia EV charging station will make a splash on the EVSE scene.
A newer player on the electric vehicle supply equipment scene, TurnOnGreen has just released a 32-amp plug-in charging unit that is available for residential use. The TurnOnGreen EV700 offers adjustable power output with smart charging and robust user-management features that will appeal to many modern consumers.
There’s a new EV charging equipment startup called ChargifyEV in Texas that recently released 32 and 40-amp charging stations. With many folks interested in products that are American-made from quality parts, like these, we quickly requested a loaner unit to be able to test it out and give you our unbiased opinion.
