EV & CHARGING NEWS
A newer player on the electric vehicle supply equipment scene, TurnOnGreen has just released a 32-amp plug-in charging unit that is available for residential use. The TurnOnGreen EV700 offers adjustable power output with smart charging and robust user-management features that will appeal to many modern consumers.
There’s a new EV charging equipment startup called ChargifyEV in Texas that recently released 32 and 40-amp charging stations. With many folks interested in products that are American-made from quality parts, like these, we quickly requested a loaner unit to be able to test it out and give you our unbiased opinion.
It’s safe to say that we’re fans of Wallbox and their residential EV charging products, so as soon as we heard about the release of the Wallbox Pulsar Plus 48 amp unit, we immediately reached out to the company to get our hands on one for demonstration. We can definitely recommend this feature-rich, hardwired unit.
When we think of EV chargers, I doubt many of us would have pictured Shell (yeah, the oil and gas company) coming up in the same thought. But with the Shell ReCharge hitting the home EV charging market with both a 32-amp version and a 40-amp version, it seems like they may be testing the waters of electrification.
